Grief Coach
In case you need to hear it:
> Your loss matters
> You matter
> Your feelings are valid
> Grief is not a journey you're meant to travel alone
Hey, I see you. I’m so so sorry for your loss. Society doesn’t teach us about death, and it certainly doesn’t prepare us for grief. Grief is messy, raw, and it f*cking hurts, and that’s hard when you’re also juggling the rest of life alongside this pain.
Maybe you‘re someone looking for grief support? Maybe you’re already having counselling or other therapeutic interventions, but you’re looking for something more, or different? You want to find someone who really gets it so that you can open up, cry, swear, shout, talk…whatever your grief needs, in a place that is safe. After all, if we don’t give our grief the time, space and gentleness it needs, it just rests in our bodies and minds, until it overflows again when we least expect it.
As a holistic grief coach I’m here to walk alongside you on your grief journey. From a foundation of trauma-informed grief awareness, neuroscience and creativity, my role is to meet you where you are now – whether that’s a recent bereavement, or if you’ve been carrying the weight of grief for years. Together, we can build a safe space for you to understand your grief, and create the tools necessary to rebuild self-trust, rediscover joy, and develop the confidence and know-how to move forwards with resilience and hope.

Why work with a grief coach? >>>>>>>
We're there for you, 100%...
A grief coach is there to support you through your grief journey - someone who really gets what you’re going through. Our collaborative relationship places you at the centre as a whole person – mind, body and spirit. The purpose is not to revisit and ‘fix’ the trauma, but to support you in moving forwards.
Our holistic approach...
Our approach focuses on the mind, body and spirit. Our bodies are known to store emotions beyond anything we can think our way through. By providing a safe space to gently acknowledge and feel our grief, we are better able to process the fulll range of emotions of grief.
A grief coach really understands grief...
I am a certified holistic grief coach who is trauma-informed. This means that we work at a pace that is right for you, and this can be at any stage of your grief journey, from a recent loss and beyond. Together we can help you to rebuild safety in your nervous system, understand and work with the impact of your grief on your day to day life, explore continuing bonds (continuing the connection with your loved one), and help you to restore and rebuild your sense of self and purpose.
We'll focus on your unique experience...
By focusing on your unique experience, I am here to walk alongside you through your grief, gently guiding you in a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space where you can fully explore, understand and process your emotions. You can’t think your way through grief, so this holistic approach allows us to work with grief in the mind and the body.
Through conversation, education and a variety of tools and techniques – selected to fit YOUR needs – grief coaching offers you an opportunity to move forwards with confidence from where you are now to where you would like to be - building a beautiful life after loss.
It's the safe space you need...
To cry, shout, swear, feel, be silent, be loud...whatever you need I'll be there beside you as a steady presence, helping you to make sense of it all. And when you're ready, together we'll co-create the actions you need to rebuild a beautiful life after loss.
Does any of this sound familiar?
You might normally see yourself as capable in control, managing work life, home and family – but now:
- You’re SO tired and lacking in motivation, yet you can’t sleep
- Feeling overwhelmed, sad and unable to move forwards
- Feeling physical aches, pains and a tightness in your body
- Feeling as though everything is out of your control
- Struggling to manage family life, work, and day to day responsibilities
- Maybe you’ve put your grief on hold to take care of everyone else
- You feel like no one understands, and people don’t want to listen anymore
- You’re grieving the person you lost as well as the person you were when you were with them
- And you’re missing the one person who would have supported you through all of this.
You’re not ‘failing’ in your grief. Your mind, body and spirit are undergoing changes that are a normal part of a grieving process.

FAQs
What is holistic grief coaching?
Unlike traditional therapy (such as counselling) which often delves into the past, the goal of holistic grief coaching is not to ‘fix’ emotions, but to provide a safe space to process, understand and integrate them in a growth-oriented way. Our collaborative relationship places you at the centre as a whole person – mind, body and spirit, helping you to rediscover yourself, safely rebuild your nervous system to live alongside your grief, and rebuild a life beyond loss. Together, we explore not only the loss of your person, but also all of the secondary losses of life, identity etc. that stem from this.
Remember that grief itself is not a disease or a disorder that needs ‘fixing’, it is a natural response to loss. Seeking grief support is not a sign of failure, but can be an empowering way to rebuild your life after loss
How does this differ from counselling and other support?
Grief coaching differs from counselling and other therapeutic bereavement support in that it is action-oriented, and based on a trauma-informed understanding of grief. The purpose of grief coaching is not to revisit and ‘fix’ trauma or to diagnose, but instead grief coaching supports you in moving forwards, finding places of safety within yourself and your life, and moving forwards with resilience, awareness and hope. There are lots of different types of grief support available - think about what type of support would feel most helpful to you right now, and what kind of person you feel comfortable working with.
What happens during a coaching session?
In a grief coaching session, you will find a compassionate, safe, non-judgmental space to explore your feelings and experiences. We work collaboratively to create the support that you need, meeting you where you are on your unique grief journey.
As your coach, I will gently guide you through your grief, offering reflections, insights and tools to help you move forward. My holistic, trauma-informed approach ensures that we can work together in a supportive way to help regulate your nervous system. This provides safety and increases your capacity to explore and regulate your emotions - this can feel so difficult during grief. A coaching session is focused around guided conversation and somatic (body) awareness and helps build clarity around your current experience. It may include exercises, exploration of emotions, identification of obstacles, goal setting and coping strategies to help you manage your grief.
How can I work with you?
I am currently offering one to one grief coaching online and in person. If you are interested in working with me, you can find full details and prices here <link to the work with me page>. The process begins with a simple coaching request form through the discovery call booking, followed by a free 30 minute discovery call (on zoom) for us to see how I can best support you, and to check we’re a great fit for working together. What kind of grief do you work with?
I am passionate about supporting people through parent loss, and I understand and empathise with the challenges of women balancing work, life, family and menopause with grief.
Grief itself is something that none of us escape in life, and it can take many forms. I am open to supporting grief experiences including life changes, pet loss, menopause grief etc. so please do reach out to me if you’d like to explore working together.
How much does it cost?
I offer a range of online coaching packages, in-person support and grief workshops. For full details on prices and packages please check out the <work with me> page. Our initial 20 minute discovery call is free of charge, and will support you in working out whether holistic grief coaching with Each Ordinary Moment is right for you. Payment plans are available on request.
I offer a small number of reduced fee coaching packages each month to support those who might not otherwise be able to afford to work with a grief coach. I don’t need explanations or evidence, but I’d ask that you please only request this if required, so that the spaces are reserved for those who need them most.
How many sessions will I need?
The number of grief coaching sessions you may need varies from person to person, as all grief journeys are unique, and grief is not a linear process. Grief work can be slow because rebuilding from trauma can take time and patience as you learn how to feel safe in your body and life, gradually exposing and unravelling the grief. It is also dependent on how ready you are to process your grief, make changes and reflect on your experiences.
It is common to invest 3-6 months or more in grief coaching (with sessions once a week) to give you the time and space that you need. Some clients find a small number of sessions are valuable in gaining some clarity and ‘holding space’ for their grief, whilst others stay for much longer if there are multiple aspects to their grief journey and identity that they wish to explore. We will work together to assess your needs and find an approach that is right for you. There is no pressure to sign up to extended periods of support and the initial discovery call is free.
